Junior Chess

The adult club restarts on Tuesday 2nd January and the junior club a week later on Tuesday 9th January. Happy new year to all!

Mike has advised that the lure of trick or treat was too high and there will be no junior club tomorrow! Back as normal next week (Nov 7th).

The junior chess club will restart 12th September at the normal times of 6:25pm-7:25pm.

A bit late reporting this but congratulations to Matthew C for winning the Challengers section of the most recent Crowborough Rapidplay on 25th Feb with 5/6. Dad Andy scored 2 points in the same section whilst Ian Comley scored 3/6 in the Championship section.

An excellent performance from Matthew, well done!

Hi all, just a quick note to confirm that the junior club restarts with Mike and Andy this coming Tuesday 10th January.

Congratulations to Nayan who scored the most points by a junior member in the adult competitions last season and therefore became the winner of the Peter Alford Cup!

Just a reminder that both the adult and junior clubs pause for the summer after the last meeting on Tuesday 5th July. We will return in September, exact date to be advised.

Just a reminder for parents that as advised by Mike there is no junior chess tomorrow, back next week.
