Double Match

Another packed week with a double match and another six games going on.

I was a bit preoccupied with my own match so not sure I saw all the matches. Alex Taylor played Mike Forster in the quickplay and Mike won the day and is now due to play Paul Taylor. Also in the quickplay Richard Barrowclough managed to beat Mick Harris in a typically good humoured game to reach the final of the Plate. Don't forget that the Quickplay is scheduled for 19 December.

In the matches Horsham were playing Lewes in the MSL Knockout and Julie expected a very strong Lewes team but we actuallly outgraded the opposition so completely that we needed to win 4-1 . In the event we lost 4-1 with only Lucy winning - she is now on 3 out of 3 with 100%. Julie will give a fullreport shortly.

I was too preoccupied to see much going on in Horsham 2 v Crowborough but Anthony drew and Paul Taylor lost and Dix adjourned a promising position. It was the last time Morgan will play for us this year and we wish him every luck back at University.
