Lightning Tournament

The lightning was held slightly later than usual this year but the extra month's wait didn't change the chaos that comes with the 10 seconds for every move.

There were 21 players split across 3 groups (exactly the same as last year!) with some standout performances in the groups below. Well done to James for a perfect score in his group!

In the final match, Anthony won the first game as white and managed to hold James to a draw in the second for the overall victory. I'm almost certain I heard him muttering something about "his precious" as he took the Lightning Tankard home for the second year in a row...
