Ian is far too modest to report on his own successes so here goes on his behalf...
Hastings Chess Club recently held a tournament over the weekend of 31st October-1st November and Ian scored 4.5/5 to finish sole first. Ian was the third seed and won his first four games in a row before drawing with the top seed in the final round to secure first place. In round 2 Ian beat Matthew Britnell of Lewes in a battle of past and present League Secretaries!
