John Cannon Thanksgiving Service

I was honoured to be invited to join them in person at John's Thanksgiving representing all his friends from the chess world. It was nice to meet so many of his family who he has proudly mentioned over the years.

It was a lovely service with some fitting memories of all his activities including chess, Gilbert and Sullivan local history and so much more. The service remains online for a further 7 days. See previous posts for details and also how to give donations.

As a club we will be definitely finding some suitable way to commemorate John's contribution over so many years.
