Dick Newman wishes club members a happy Christmas

I exchange Christmas cards with HCC honourary life member Dick Newman, here is his message to club members...

"I intended to call in at the chess club before play started, but now that in January I will be 102 it is not so easy. Please give my regards to those members who played in those past days."

Still going strong at nearly 102, what a legend and just goes to show that chess can help keep you sharp! I will wish Dick a happy Christmas from all at the club.
