Just a quick reminder that although the adult club returns tomorrow, junior chess restarts the week after (10th Jan) due to my holidays! See you then.

Four Crowborough juniors travelled to Horsham to kickstart our campaign in the MSL's new rapidplay league and an exciting match ensued...

Matthew and Lucy are well north of the Arctic Circle as part of an SJC team preparing to take on junior teams from Paris and Russia...

Throughout the season the junior club members play some serious chess alongside the more lighthearted variety and the training. Here's the results for the season just gone...

The junior club will return on September 13th at the usual time of 6:25pm-7:25pm. I will present the shields for last year's competitions and we will kick off another season of fun and learning - see you then!

A very strong turnout of 28 Horsham players contested the annual Lightning tournament last week, following the junior club's own Lightning earlier in the evening...

Just a quick reminder to all parents that there is no junior chess next Tuesday, we are back again on the 19th as normal. The adult club is on as normal for our older juniors.
