Honours even in hard fought Division 2 match

Horsham 3 visited The Args last night and the match ended as a draw 2.5 – 2.5.

We were outgraded heavily on the top 2 boards with Peter Farr’s 40 extra points overcoming Chris Heath on top board. John Cannon fought well against Jim Graham on board 2 and was last to finish just before the time deadline. Board 3 was a rock solid draw from start to finish.

Once again our boards 4 & 5 came through with impressive wins from Nick Warren and Richard Moorhouse.
The half point gained maintains our goal of staying in Division 2 when the Leagues are re-formed next season.
