If you find yourself wondering why on earth your grading didn't go up even more then you might like to check out which games counted towards your result.

The latest ECF grading list has just been published. Here is a table of the current and previous standard play grades of club members.

The new grades are due out at the end of July and the full list of Horsham gradings will appear here soon after.

The ECF have changed the arrangements for game fees to encourage us all to become ECF members. The club will offer free bronze membership for all members next year or a discount for ECF members.

Before you even thought of getting next year’s diary we have some key dates ready for you!

Some great chess played this season and some new names for the engravers...just the quickplay to be resolved on the first night back. Particular congratulations for Richard Moorhouse in managing an amazing 8/9 in the MSCL...if only the rest of us had played so well!
