Well done to : Melusi Nkomo, Lawrence Draper, Phil Stimpson, Paul Richardson, Nick Warren and Gary Whitmore who managed to beat the club champion - Dix Roberts. (See next post for update concerning Anthony Higgs result).

Julie Denning, Tony Locke, Paul Taylor, Andrew Burling, Jordan Madsouski and James Mansson all managed a draw.

Sadly Ian Comley (first to lose!), Lucinda Ritchie, Dick Newman, John Ludlam, Guy Turvey, Peter Harbott and Matt Forster all lost.

Horsham Junior Chess Club restarts for the new season on Tuesday 4th September (6:25pm-7:25pm as usual) with a junior champion simultaneous display by defending and 3-time champion Matt Forster....

This FIDE event is running at Gatwick right now - it is close enough to pop along or if you prefer you can follow online. 10 games will be fed through to the internet so you can follow games from your own home (or smartphone for that matter!).
